A well-being massage, is a holistic approach to massage therapy that focuses on promoting overall well-being and relaxation. Unlike therapeutic massages that target specific issues or injuries, a wellbeing massage aims to provide a rejuvenating experience for the body and mind. The primary goal of a wellbeing massage is to reduce stress, alleviate tension, improve circulation, and enhance the body's natural healing processes. By promoting a sense of relaxation and balance, a wellbeing massage contributes to overall physical, mental, and emotional health, leaving clients feeling refreshed, revitalized, and restored. Below are massage treatments available which also complement the range of Facial Massage Treatments.

INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE
A range of different massage pressures and rhythms are used in this treatment which can provide instant relief from tension and stress symptoms and induce a state of calm, peace and tranquillity and also promote high levels of alertness and concentration.
This is a seated treatment working on the upper back, neck, shoulders, upper arms, head and face. The massage is performed through light clothing or directly onto the skin with the use of oils.
A treatment using oil will provide additional conditioning benefits to the hair and scalp. Usually coconut oil is applied but olive oil can be used instead if preferred. It is best to leave the oil in your hair overnight and wash out the following day to gain optimum conditioning from the oil. Be prepared for your hair being oily after the treatment if using oil, so its not advised before a night out.

Foot and hand care
You won't regret giving your hands and feet some special attention. Your feet and hands will both look and feel great, your stress will reduce and your circulation will be increased.
Skin Care
Your hands are more exposed to daily dirt and weather than any part of your body, except maybe your face. That means that they accumulate grime easily. The skin is also constantly creating new skin cells which can make the appearance look dry and rough. Your feet are generally only exposed in the spring and summer times, but walking on them all day can create callouses, dry skin and other uneven skin conditions.
A professional hand treatment includes a thorough cleaning with lotions designed to exfoliate your skin. Any grime and dead skin cells will be removed, keeping your hands smooth and reducing any appearance of wrinkles.
A professional foot treatment will exfoliate your lower legs and feet, making your skin feel soft, smooth and invigorated.
Improved Circulation
In addition to exfoliating, moisturizers are massaged into the skin with a professional massage to the lower arms and hands and lower legs and feet. This massage action is not only incredibly relaxing but also smooths and softens the skin and helps to improve blood circulation to your extremities. This can reduce pain and stiffness and help your body distribute heat during cold months.
A hand treatment will involve soaking in a warm cleansing solution to relax, warm and soften the skin and cuticles, followed by exfoliation to remove dead skin cells and soften any callouses and finishing off with a thorough massage of the forearms and hands to relieve any tension, improve circulation, mobility and condition the skin. A foot treatment will involve a refreshing foot soak, exfoliation and massage of lower legs and feet to remove dead skin cells and moisturise and relax the feet.
As I am also a Reflexologist, I will cover a few reflex points during the treatment and advise on various reflex points you can use on yourself. These treatments can be taken on their own or added to a reflexology treatment at a reduced rate.
